  6. Great Canadian ButterTart Fest Southern Ontario's Sweetest Festival is Back! Get ready to indulge on Saturday October 18th and Sunday October 19th at the Paris Fairgrounds from 11am-4pm. We're talking about 1000's of ooey-gooey buttertarts, food trucks, beer patio, hot cider, vendors, Halloween selfie station, kisplay zone AND a brand new MAPLE FEST with maple-inspired treats and goodies! Admission is $6 (10+), $2 (3-9), ages 2 and under are free - CASH ONLY at the gate. Parking is free.

Prayers For The Earth & Blessing of Animals All are welcome to join St. James Church on Burwell Street, Saturday October 4th at 10:30am for a short Christian service that will include scripture readings, songs, prayers and the blessing of the animals. You are welcome to bring your furry, fuzzy, feathery and scaly friends for a special blessing.

  9. Trail Teachings On Sunday October 5th, join Ellie Joseph and Garth Potruff at Lions Park in Paris, from 10am-12pm. You will experience a "Hiking Classroom," where you learn as you walk. This interpretive hike covers Haudenosaunee culture-history and edible-medicinal plants of the Nith River Valley. Register online using the activity #8100 at brant.ca/COBConnect or in person at the Brant Sporst Complex Monday-Friday 8:30am-8pm.
