  22. Large Format Printing Certification In this workshop, you will learn how to print your photographs and documents using the Paris Library's Large Format Printer. They'll also show you how to book appointments yourself, so you can use the printer anytime you like. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop or device.   25. Progressive Euchre Calling all euchre players, starting September 23rd, the Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting progressive euchre every Tuesday night (excluding Oct 21st & Nove 18th). Similar to the card game rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation and involves a degree of chance. The game has proven to help keep the mind sharp as it produces an increase in cognitive function. This is a free, drop-in program, perfect for both new and returning players, every Thursday afternoon from 1:30-4pm and runs January 8th to March 26th.

  4. English Conversation Circle This is a drop-in program, held at the Paris Library, on Tuesday mornings from 10:30am-12pm. This welcoming space is designed for adults to practice their English skills, share experiences, and learn from one another. Each session includes opportunities to explore community resources, discover helpful library materials, and support newcomers as they adjust to their new environment. While the focus is on adult conversation, children are welcome to join in the fun at their coloring table. It's time to come out, connect, learn and feel at home in your new community! This program runs Tuesday January 6th to Tuesday March 31st.

  7. Paris Winter Carnival Is happening at the Paris Fairgrounds on Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th from 11am-3pm. This INDOOR market will include; all kinds of carnival eats like cotton candy, dirty sodas, deep fried oreos and much more! There will also be 2 halls filled with different artisans, caricature drawing, tarot card readings, kids activities, face painting, balloons and even a "Wish Tree."
