They'll also show you how to book appointments yourself, so you can use the printer anytime you like. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop or device. Local History: One Book One Brant Over the Years You are invited to join Digital History intern, Pearl, to celebrate 20 years of One Book One Brant at the Paris Library on Tuesday February 17th, from 7-8pm.   21. MakerWorkshop: Printing Your Photos on Canvas Turn your favorite photos into beautiful canvas prints using the Paris Library's large format printer! In this hands-on session, they'll show you how to choose the right image, prpeare it for printing, and get the best results on canvas material. Staff will walk you through each step and answer questions along the way. No design experience is needed.   14. Mahjong Welcome to Mahjong at the Paris Library! Mahjong is a tile-based game which was developed in China in the Qing dynasty and has spead throughout the world since the early 20th century. Similar to the card game rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation and involves a degree of chance. The game has proven to help keep the mind sharp as it produces an increase in cognitive function.
